In my capacity as a content strategist at NSE Media, I’ve worked with the Minneapolis Anti-Aging and Skin Clinic (formerly the Carillon Clinic) for nearly five years. Over that time period, we’ve performed several significant upgrades on the content and SEO profile of the website. I was also part of the team that oversaw a home URL change in January of 2018.

Major Projects and Turning Points

My work with Minneapolis Anti-Aging and Skin Clinic can be broken down into several major long term project and turning points.

Content Overhaul:

The website already had some barebones content when we began our work with the client. One of our long term projects was to ensure every single procedure page was at least 750 words in length. In conjunction with the client, I’ve helped to expand nearly every procedure, with many pages now measuring over 2000 words.

Homepage Redesign:

When NSE Media first began working with Minneapolis Anti-Aging and Skin Clinic, homepages were generally designed to be simple affairs. These days, content on homepages is a huge key to success. That’s why I composed the content on the homepage to succeed for both marketing and SEO purposes. The design team at NSE Media did an amazing job of helping that content to really pop in an evocative way!

URL Change:

Early in 2018, the Carillon Clinic officially changed names to become the Minneapolis Anti-Aging and Skin Clinic. Our team successfully managed the URL changeover with no loss in Google organic traffic.

The Results

Over the past four years, Minneapolis Anti-Aging and Skin Clinic has seen a significant improvement in traffic every single year. Much of the credit goes to the team at NSE Media, from Nick Engebretson’s amazing designs to development team’s clean code. Overall, the content has continued to perform well, indicated by improvements in keyword positions and growth in organic traffic.

These results were achieved in conjunction with an incredibly cooperative and active client.
